Rotary Youth Leadership Award
We were delighted to draw together course participants from Germany, Denmark and the Ukraine, as well as from our own district.


This demanding week-
After the course, some of our International guests came to our Rotary Club meeting and told us what they had gained from the experience!


We once again supported the annual "Kids Out" day for children with disabilities at Wicksteed Park. This event is organised by all the Rotary Clubs in District 1070, and it is very worthwhile.

The Christmas experimental collection produced £468 for Benevolent funds.

Dec 2005 Sally Kettle ( a member of our Club) and her team rowers took part in the
Cross the Atlantic race. They suffered major setbacks of every description but survived
to tell the tale -

This was both a social and a planning visit, deepening the exchange opportunities between the two Clubs.

July 2005 -
The food tasted fabulous and we gleaned the invaluable information that apple juice is the secret ingredient for any barbeque!
